Dean for Culinary Arts
Location: Beaufort County, South Carolina
The Division Dean is responsible to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for the development and management of the Culinary Arts division. Responsibilities also include the supervision of all faculty and staff assigned to that division, the promotion and operation of all full and part-time credit and non-credit programs related to the division, divisional (credit and non-credit) marketing and evaluation activities, and providing instruction to students within the areas of instructional development, teaching performance, student advisement, professional development, college/community service and instructional management.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Master's degree plus three (3) years of progressively responsible related work/teaching experience. The degree must be in business, hospitality, tourism, culinary and/or related subject areas.
At least three (3) years of experience in the culinary/hospitality industry is strongly preferred. Familiarity with catering operations along with varying trends in facilities and equipment is desirable.
