Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Coordinator for the Growing Opportunities for Family Child Care (GOFCC) with the Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center.
Primary Job Duties: Provide day-to-day oversight of the grant-funded Growing Opportunities for Family Child Care (GOFCC) Program through the Eastern Shore Child Care Resource Center. Assist in recruitment of participants for training/education, assist in managing their progress, and serve as liaison between project partners.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Business and 1-3 years of experience.
Must be detailed oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem-solving, follow-through, time management, and oral & written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. Recordkeeping, scheduling, communication, maintaining a schedule, and motivating others. Ability to work with internal and external users from a wide variety of disciplines and different levels of training.
Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of project management experience preferred.
This is a full-time, exempt, Contingent II (contractual), position with a limited benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, paid leave, tuition remission and more. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
