Custodial / Maintenance

CUSTODIAL / MAINTENANCE - Full Time 
needed at our Royal Dunes Resort location
8 Wimbledon Ct., Hilton Head Island, SC 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

1. Clean and inspect common areas (hallways, elevators, public restrooms, trash areas, parking garages, playground, resort grounds, grill areas, pools, sauna and clubhouse).
2. Maintain inventory to par in guest rooms.
3. General cleaning of building exteriors and sidewalks.
4. Light maintenance duties to include changing lightbulbs, filters, plunging toilets, etc.
5. Reporting areas that need repaired so proper work order can be prepared.
6. Turns in complete notification of all work finished daily.
7. Wear protective equipment such as eye and ear protection or respirators when required.
8. Performs all other related duties as requested by your immediate supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good communication skills.
• Command of the English language, written and verbal.
• Good vision, either natural or with corrective lenses.
• Basic mathematical skills for simple calculations.
• Good hearing.
• Good physical condition.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and squat.
• Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds.
• Ability to reach high places and work safely on ladders and high lifts.
• Must be able to work in varying environments, both indoor and outdoors.
• Must be able to work safely with chemicals.
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours at a time.
• Ability to use blowers, pressure washer, pump sprayer, brooms, mops & dusters.
• Must be able to shovel snow (if applicable) .
• Must be able to work hours outside of regularly scheduled hours and days.

Rate of pay:  $15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
