FULL-TIME FRONT DESK ASSISTANT
OPTIMAL HEALTH CHIROPRACTIC is growing and will be accepting applications for a full time front desk assistant. Our office mission is to make a difference in the health of our community naturally and we are looking for a team member that would like to join us in achieving that goal.
The applicant must be a detail oriented accomplished multitasker and able to handle a fast-paced work environment. In addition, the applicant should also be honest, dependable, professional and outgoing. Skills necessary include excellent communication skills, very good to excellent computer skills, knowledge of operating basic office equipment such as copier, scanner or fax, manage a multi-line phone system and route calls to the appropriate person and take accurate messages. Candidates must have excellent time management skills and the ability to perform expected task without supervision.
Job duties include but not limited to, such things as greeting patients and assisting them with patient care. Scheduling appointments, collecting fees, day to day filing of all patient information. Obtain all required medical records and reports needed for the new, current and follow up patient encounters.
In addition, any applicant must be able to work weekdays 7am to 6:30 pm and must be able to work 2 Tuesday evenings per month until 7:30 pm to assist with patient education workshops, assist in marketing/office outreach programs, attend Saturday and Sunday educational seminars with fellow staff semi-annually. Experience within chiropractic, wellness or alternative medicine is a major plus. Willing to train depending on skills.
