LowCountry Alliance for Health Youth Coalition is seeking to fill the following position:
Drug Free Communities (DFC) Grant Coordinator
Bluffton – Hilton Head, SC Location
POSITION TYPE: DFC Grant Funded/Part-Time Option
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Marketing, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Nursing, Education, or other equivalent field/experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Spanish speaking/writing skills a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point
- Proficiency with social media, public relations and/or marketing
- Working and/or basic knowledge of Mailchimp, WordPress, and Zoom, or willing to learn
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with maintaining DFC grant/coalition records and submit reports as required.
- Maintain data base of DFC required In-kind dollar match and submit reports.
- Assist with maintaining a data base of Coalition activities.
- Support the collection of data utilized for Coalition efforts.
- Maintain Coalition membership data base.
- Assist with Coalition communication.
- Collect analytics on LCAHY’s public health awareness campaign and social media platforms.
- Maintain data base of Coalition history, e.g. events, media coverage.
- Support the Coalition to expand the reach of the Coalition by coordinating staffing of information exhibits at school/community events.
- Assist with press releases and print/social media platforms.
- Maintain website, E-News Alerts, and social media platforms, using approved messaging.
- Assist the Coalition with identifying in-kind and financial resources.
- Manage the Coalition office including ordering resources/supplies as approved.
- Assist with managing Zoom at monthly Coalition meetings.
- Develop skills as needed, such as grant writing and marketing.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Valid driver's license and transportation required.
- Have regular access to a reliable car.
- Be able to lift and transport program materials.
- Specific assignments and/or meetings will require a flexible work schedule, such as evenings and/or weekends.
