160 Temporary/Full time Landscape Laborer. Work sites: Provided daily transport to & from work site; begin in North Charleston, Charleston County, SC 29423 at $13.35/hour. Continue in counties of Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester, SC, & Charleston-North Charleston, SC. 2/1/20-11/30/20. Positions duties: Cut grass, using walking-type or riding mowers, trim hedges & edges around walks, flower beds & wells. Use hedge trimmers, clippers & edging tools. Prunes shrubs & trees to shape & improve growth. Sprays lawns, shrubs & trees to fertilize. Plant grass, flowers, shrubs & trees. Water lawn, shrubs & trees during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system & other related Landscape Laborer activities per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org). Must show proof of legal authority to work in U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50 lbs. No minimum education requirement. OJT. Triple H's clients operate golf courses & have certain requirements for those performing work at their courses. As a result, Triple H reserves right to inquire of any job applicant, whether U.S. applicants or H-2B applicants, as to prior criminal convictions. Applicant will be asked about date & nature of conviction, & applicant will not be hired if they have previously been convicted of a felony/misdemeanor involving theft/property/violence/sex offense at any time or other misdemeanors within previous 5 years before date of application. All applicants must be willing, qualified, to perform work described & available for entire period specified. $13.35/hour up to poss $16/hour OT $20.03/hour up to positions $24/hour. Wage may vary. DOE. Cash advance may apply at employer discretion. Positions daily/weekly hours: 6am-2:30pm. 40+ to include lunch break Monday-Friday. Positions weekend/holiday work. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate, poss downtime &/or OT. OT available, not required. Employer will comply with all applicable federal, state & local laws pertaining to OT hours. Transportation: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transportation, subsistence from work site to place from which worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from employment before end of work period above. Transportation & subsistence will be provided for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Guaranteed offered work hours at least 3/4ths of workdays each 12/week period of total employment period. Use/maintain of employer provided tools/equipment/supplies at no cost/deposit. Optional housing available at $80.00 per week to be deducted from employee's paycheck.
