CPA or CPA Candidate (Full-Time) Carey & Company, P.A., a Hilton Head Island CPA firm, seeks a full-time licensed CPA or CPA Candidate with 0 to 5 years of practical firm experience. We are a well-established firm providing accounting, payroll, tax and auditing services to a wide variety of corporate, home-owner association, not-for-profit and individual clients. Responsibilities include: - Tax planning, review for accuracy of all financial reports. - Preparation of corporate partnership, not-for-profit, homeowner association and individual tax returns. - Researching and resolving client tax and accounting issues to include representing the clients with the taxing authorities as pertains to state or other audits. - Preparation of Audit and Review engagements. Qualifications: - Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other related field. A master's degree preferred. - Should have excellent organizational and communication skills to work with clients and staff in a professional manner. - Must meet deadlines required by federal, local and state requirements. - This position typically requires overtime work especially during tax season.
