IT Project Coordinator
CDTA is looking for a full time IT Project Coordinator who loves being in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment. This individual will work primarily in our Maintenance Department on systems relating to onboard cameras, mobile radios, GPS, Infotainment Systems and Destination Data technology.
This position performs a full range of technical roles which include planning, coordinating, supervising and managing activities relating to activities from project specification and procurement through implementation and QA.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work involves coordinating all aspects of approved CDTA projects, managing the work of technicians assigned to the project, communicating with all levels of management and educating end users. May be asked to manage simultaneous projects of varying duration, complexity and breadth. The successful individual must have excellent independent judgment, problem solving and facilitation skills. This is not a desk job so applicants must be ready and willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience required includes project, work and resource management skills as well as IT Systems Administration. Will manage the infrastructure business continuity/disaster recovery requirements which include following CDTA information security policies, risk assessment, testing and restoration procedures. Must be well versed in data analysis procedures and tools as well as possess excellent communication and writing skills. A minimum of five years’ experience performing these functions as well as an applicable bachelors/master’s degree in IT are needed.
