Athletic Supervisor/Parks & Recreation - $19.23 hr
Provides oversight, coordination, planning, and evaluation of athletics programs and activities provided by Beaufort County Parks and Recreation. Provides training and supervision to personnel assigned to the programs.
Real Property Records Technician/Assessor’s Office - $13.45 hr
Under general supervision, performs routine work in the operation of a personal computer and clerical functions to maintain property assessment records for the Assessor’s Department. Also, assists the public with information relating to Real Property Assessments.
Sr. Administrative Specialist/Engineering - $16.38 hr
Responsibilities include providing confidential administrative support, information to the public regarding routine legal procedures, and secretarial support to various committee, commission or managers by attending meetings. Reviews timesheet and payroll reports, drafts and distributes minutes, edits and formats documents, letters and reports, as well as explains department policies, procedures and regulations and performs related duties.
Library Assistant – Circulation Representative/Beaufort - $10.51 hr
Performs basic library support functions and routine circulation desk duties. Responsibilities include working at the circulation desk, processing material in and out of area, performing shelving duties and providing customer service to patrons.
Grants Accountant/Finance - $25.19 DOQ
Under general supervision of the Finance Director, this position is primarily responsible for a variety of activities related to the management, compliance monitoring, administration, and financial management of federal, state and other grant programs available to Beaufort County Government; consisting of both active and inactive grants. Works with various departments and other entities to track, maintain oversight and ensure compliance with varied and complex grant requirements.
County Assessor - $DOQ
The chosen candidate will provide oversight to a department of 40 employees. Beaufort County, a Sea Island coastal community, is one of the faster growing counties in South Carolina and includes the famous Hilton Head resort area. The successful candidate will direct the operations and activities of the department involving appraisal of real property for property tax assessment purposes in accordance with state and local laws, the administration of special assessments and exemptions and appear before Local Board of Appeals and state Administrative Law Court.
