Administrative Clerks/Animal Services - $12.03 hr - Performs routine administrative, clerical, and dispatch duties in support of Beaufort County Animal Services. Provides information to the public regarding shelter operation, animal control services and adoptions. May periodically be required to lift and/or carry animals, cages, or equipment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • High school graduate or GED
• College level coursework or vocational training in general office work and personal computer operations preferred • One year clerical/customer service experience • Must be comfortable around dogs, cats and other animals • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license • Basic communication, comprehension and math skills required. • Must be willing to work weekends on a rotational basis
Athletics Supervisor/Parks & Recreation - $19.23 hr - Provides oversight, coordination, planning, and evaluation of athletics programs and activities provided by Beaufort County Parks and Recreation. Provides training and supervision to personnel assigned to the programs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s Degree in Parks & Recreation Administration or closely related field • Five (5) years progressive experience with knowledge, skills and abilities through recreation programs or activities, event/activity scheduling, public interaction, and customer service. • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Willing to work evenings, some weekends and holidays • Must be CPR and First Aid certified within 6 months of employment • Significant additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree
