Certified Dietary Manager Bayview Manor is currently accepting resumes for a full time position as a Certified Dietary Manager.
Duties & Responsbilities:
Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with the current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations our established policy and procedures. Assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Inspect food storage rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining an ongoing quality assurance program for the Food Services Department. Visit residents periodically to evaluate the quality of meals served, likes and dislikes, etc. Serve on, participate in, and attend various committees of the facility as required.
Make daily rounds to assure that food services personnel are performing required duties and to assure that appropriate food services procedures are being rendered to meet the needs of the facility. Assist in development of and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes. Assist support support services in developing, implementing, and conducting in-service training programs that relate to the Food Services Department. Ensure that all food storage rooms, preparation areas, etc., are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Ensure that necessary equipment is available and working properly. Ensure that stock levels of food, supplies, equipment, cleaning/disinfecting supplies etc., are maintained at adequate levels at all times. Monitor & Ensure that all resident's food services needs are being met. Conduct weekly inspections of all food services functions to assure that quality control measures are continually maintained
A High School Diploma and have completed an approved dietary managers course. Must have at least 2 years experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
